About the Role

At G2 Ops, MBSE Engineers specialize in digital system modeling, using SysML, Cameo, and MagicDraw to create interactive models that enhance system design, traceability, and decision-making. Instead of relying on static documentation, you’ll develop dynamic models that integrate with DoD Architecture Frameworks (DoDAF) to support mission-critical defense projects. Your work will shape the future of digital engineering, leveraging automation, simulation, and AI-driven efficiencies to optimize defense and cybersecurity solutions.

What Makes G2 Ops Different?

  • AI & Digital Engineering Leadership – We stay ahead of the competition by embracing AI, automation, and model-based development to improve workflows and decision-making.
  • Growth & Collaboration: Work alongside engineers, developers, and cybersecurity experts in a culture that values teamwork, cross-training, and professional development.
  • Impactful Work: Shape the future of defense and cybersecurity while directly supporting DoD objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 10+ years in MBSE, digital engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical mindset, proficiency in MBSE tools (Cameo, MagicDraw), and familiarity with DoDAF.

Why In-Person?

We get it—remote work has its perks. But at G2 Ops, we work with highly sensitive material that require a secure work environment. That means most of our roles require working on-site, either at our San Diego office or at a military customer site.

But here’s the good news:

  • We value work-life balance. While we can’t offer full remote work, we do allow flexible schedules when possible.
  • Our office is awesome! We’ve built a collaborative, high-energy environment where employees enjoy working together and supporting one another.
  • Hands-on experience. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work directly with military personnel, gaining insights and experience you wouldn’t get from a remote position.

Join Us!

This isn’t just another job—it’s a chance to lead the digital transformation of defense engineering. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how MBSE enhances cybersecurity, automation, and decision-making for the Department of Defense.

Quick Reminder, we are seeking a full-time team member; the continuation of outside employment shall not constitute a conflict with the Company’s interest, including performing work for a customer or competitor.

Congratulations, you made it all the way to the end of this job posting. We look forward to learning more about you!

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
